Mayor ahorro de energía gracias a que los motores IE3 están principalmente basados en corrientes nominales más bajas, para la misma potencia.
Por razones técnicas, las corrientes de arranque son mayores.La utilización de la denominada corriente “inrush” permite que la corriente transitoria de arranque de los motores IE3 sea mayor que la de los modelos IE2.
